Application fields of hydrosilane addition reactions
Hydrosilane addition reaction refers to the addition reaction between organosilicate compounds containing silica-hydrogen bonds and compounds containing unsaturated bonds under certain conditions. It is the main form of forming silica-carbon bonds and one of the most important types of reactions in organosilicylation. The reaction conditions are mild and the reaction efficiency is high. It can be widely used in the fields of synthesis of organhalosilane, preparation of modified silicone oil, synthesis of silane coupling agent, liquid silicone rubber and some functional organosilicon materials.


Silica-hydrogen bonds and unsaturated groups in the hydrosilane addition reaction
The unsaturated bonds in the sila-hydrogen addition reaction can be C-C double bond, C-C triple bond, C-O double bond and C-N double bond, etc. Among them, the addition reaction of SiH bond with C C double bond is the most common SiH addition reaction in the organosilicate industry, and this paper mainly introduces the addition reaction of SiH bond with C C double bond.


Hydrosilane addition equation
According to the different catalytic systems of the reaction, there are two kinds of silica-hydride addition reactions: free radical addition mechanism and coordination addition mechanism. Under the conditions of ultraviolet, high temperature, γ-ray, peroxides and azoides, the hydrosilane addition reaction was carried out according to the mechanism of free radical addition. In the presence of transition metal catalysts such as Pt, Pd, Rh and Ni, the coordination addition mechanism was adopted. Due to the high activity and selectivity of transition metal catalysts, the common hydri-silicon addition reactions are mainly carried out under the catalytic action of transition metal catalysts, among which platinum catalyst is the most widely used transition metal catalyst.
