Heat conduction: heat conduction silicone grease is the most widely used heat conduction medium at present. It is made of silicone oil as raw material, and adds thickener and other fillers. After heating, decompression, grinding and other processes, it is a kind of ester shaped substance. The working temperature of thermal silicone grease is generally between -50℃ and 180℃. It has good thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, aging resistance and waterproof characteristics. In the heat dissipation process of the device, after heating to a certain state, the heat conduction silicone grease will present a semi-liquid state, fully filling the gap between the CPU and the heat sink, making the connection between the two more closely, thus strengthening the heat conduction. In general, thermal silicone grease is insoluble in water, not easy to be oxidized, but also has a certain lubricity and electrical insulation. Like thermal conductive silicone grease, thermal conductive silica gel is also made of silicon oil adding certain chemical raw materials, and through chemical processing. But different from thermal silicone grease, there is some viscous material in the chemical raw material added to it, so the thermal conductive silica gel of the finished product has a certain adhesive force. The biggest characteristic of thermal conductive silica gel is that it has a hard texture after solidification, and its thermal conductivity is slightly lower than that of thermal silicone grease.
Cutting fluid: silicon oil is added to the cutting fluid to lubricate and defoaming.
Demoulding: because it is not sticky with rubber, plastic and metal, silicone oil can be widely used as a demoulding agent for forming various rubber and plastic products. Its advantages are convenient demoulding and the surface of products is clean, smooth and the texture is clear.
