Because the molecular chain of the adhesive material usually exists in an irregular state, showing high tensile force and tear resistance, when the reinforcing agent is mixed into the adhesive material, the molecular chain of the adhesive material is attached to the surface of the reinforcing agent, and some elongation is lost in order to make the particles become orderly. Precipitated silica has a large specific surface area and surface activity, so it can make the molecular chain of rubber as effective adhesion, to achieve the maximum reinforcing effect. However, although precipitated white carbon black is good, it can not be used directly. The synthesis process of precipitated white carbon black is essentially the process of transforming the dense crystalline quartz sand into loose amorphous hydrated silica, namely SiO2→SiO2·nH2O. The surface of precipitated white carbon black eventually generated will contain a large number of silicon hydroxyl groups, which have high activity. As a result, the surface of silica is hydrophilic, the dispersion is poor, and the particles are easy to agglomerate, which affects its application in polymer matrix. Therefore, in order to broaden the application field, it is necessary to conduct hydrophobic modification of white carbon black, reduce the content of silicon hydroxyl group, and enhance its dispersion in organic materials.
